Summer Movie Night
Strangers on the Earth
Wednesday July 25, 2018 7:00 PM; HNJ Life Center Hall
The Camino de Santiago, or translated The Way of St. James, is a centuries old pilgrimage across northern Spain to the Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims from across the world have made this religious pilgrimage, retracing the steps of St. James during his evangelization of Spain, and to the Cathedral where his bones are buried. Some pilgrims are seeking redemption, some are looking for answers; many are seeking a connection with God.
On the heels of our parish mission on the Camino by Fr. Dave Pivonka, please plan to join us for a special night at HNJ on July 25 to view the acclaimed documentary film Strangers on the Earth. It's an unusual story of a young musician who walks the Camino with his cello strapped to his back, stopping at over 30 small Spanish churches along his Way for impromptu concerts. We hope that you'll enjoy learning more about this sacred walk, and perhaps consider a pilgrimage of your own, all in the company of your fellow parishioners.
All are welcome. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the journey together!
